Dr. Kristi Busby purchased the Blue Ridge Animal Clinic from its founder Dr. Cynthia Brooks in 2014. Blue Ridge Animal was founded with the strong belief that maintaining excellent medical services and facilities at affordable prices is the best way to serve the companion animals and pet owners in the Montgomery/Wetumpka area. Dr. Busby and her staff of doctors and technicians strive to maintain these high standards with every patient every time.
After graduating from Faulkner University in Montgomery, AL with a degree in biology and an emphasis on veterinary sciences curriculum, Dr. Busby attended Auburn University Veterinary School and received her Doctorate in Veterinary Sciences Degree. She practiced veterinary medicine for several years before joining the staff at Blue Ridge Animal Clinic where she has worked since 2006. She is a general practitioner, but has special interests in feline medicine, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry.
Dr. Busby and her family, including a sheltie and a collie, one hairless cat, and three domestic short haired cats, live in the suburbs of Montgomery. She and her family are all active in their church and in the school activities of her children.
